Unlike jerky, Biltong is made by carefully marinating the most ideal pieces of meat in aromatic herbs and spices from across the world. The meat is then air-dried and cured over several days in highly controlled chambers. This is a similar process used to craft Italian Prosciutto

The air drying and curing process lock in the rich bold flavours while not damaging or reducing the lean proteins and nutrients along the way. This is what we call a win-win here at Aikona.
